1. Discuss the cognitive – field theory of learning.
2. How do children learn attitudes and values?
3. Select a school textbook according to your subject expertise and analyze the content with reference to the following:
 What are the objectives of teaching the subject at that level?
 Does the content reflect the objectives of teaching the subject at that level?
 Is the difficulty level of the content according to the cognitive ability of learners at that level? How will you make adjustment in your teaching activity to include different ability groups?
 Does the content include local knowledge? How will you include local knowledge in your teaching activities?
Write a report discussing the above points with appropriate illustrations from the textbook.
